Barber Dime

The Barber dime is a ten-cent coin that was produced by the United States Mint from 1892 to 1916. It is named after its designer, Charles E. Barber, who also designed the Barber quarter and half dollar. The obverse side of the Barber dime features the head of Liberty facing right, wearing a cap with the word "LIBERTY" inscribed on it and surrounded by 13 stars. The reverse side features a wreath surrounding the words "ONE DIME" and the mint mark. The coin was made of 90% silver and 10% copper, and its weight is 2.5 grams. The Barber dime is popular among collectors and is considered a classic American coin.
